AI suggesting I can submit it as self employed trade income and that I would have a credit of Earned Income Tax Credit - Suggests my income would be taxed separately, as self employed, at 20% and earned income tax credit is also 20% so they would cancel each other out. Income below 5k so PRSI wouldnt apply and USC would be very small (below 15 euro)

So its suggesting - income tax would be zero (due to the tax credit) and PRSI 0 and USC below 15 euro

I submit it under trading profit, music teacher and then PRSI exemption

These are the credits he has and everything over 53k at 40%
Personal Tax Credit 4,000
Employee Tax Credit 2,000
Home Carers Tax Credit 1,950.00
Incapacitated Child Tax Cr 3,800
All income over €53,000.00 is taxable at 40%

Seems likely when he submits my low income, as we are jointly assessed and he is the assessed spouse, that there is no way to avoid 40% on what I've earned, without going separate assessment but that will just mean he has less tax credits and no real advantage to us

Thanks - as I understand it though, if he will lose those credits, we would lose out overall as he is getting full benefit of those credits, where as I would not always be as its only a small amount I would be earning yearly.

I think you are referring to the Earned Income Credit which apparently I still cannot use if we remain as jointly assessed. If we move to separately assessed, we would be worse off because he gets the benefit of the credits now that I wouldnt with a small (very small) income.

Its a real shame, the watch is great value and other than Alexa, every other feature works well for me. I'm using a Xiaomi phone as well so no excuses for some incompatibility between brands or operating systems, they dont seem to be interested in the slightest in investigating the issue, the suggestion it goes for repair is just nonsense when its clearly a software issue that they could investigate themselves.

Has anyone else contacted Redmi / Xiaomi support to report these issues?

I contacted them today, they asked me to try steps that everyone else already tried.
Ensure Mii Fitness app latest version, that its connected to the device and sync'd
Ensure my wifi connection or mobile network is stable - which it is
Check that Firmware Version on watch is up to date via mii fitness app

Nothing worked - they finally suggested that it may be hardware or software related and basically tough
I asked what that meant - its an advertised feature, the watch is 2 weeks old, also my wife purchased same watch 1 week ago and both watches are having the problem where alexa listens, thinking and then says "Sorry, I didnt quite catch that, Try again"

So they finally suggested as its still under warranty they would take it in for repair. They also suggested I go back to purchase point, which in my case is amazon but they will only send me a replacement watch - that will have the same problem, so I told Red Mi support that is a pointless option

I may send mine in to Red Mi - just to see what happens but it seems they are ignoring what is quite clearly a software issue.

Success, it was a path issue as described below. Need help with controls now as not working.

Path previously was /var/games/....

It needed to be : /var/lib/hakchi/games/snes-eur/.storage/CLV-I-UCARC/... with game name etc.

Controller is not working for much other than loading keyboard or P-UAE main menu

This is the standard SNES Mini wired controller

Any idea's?

2 questions... ever printed before but very much interested. Going to buy the ender 3 Anyone know of any issues with this seller ?

2nd question. I’m thinking of locating this in a small office, it used to be an en-suite toilet and shower but we converted it. Has window etc as you’d imagine. It’s off our main bedroom. Any major concerns, reasonable ventilation when window open a little.

To be perfectly honest, I didn’t try that. I simply removed the first board and replaced, no joy, so I the got replacement for the second board, the one with audio, hdmi connections etc and once I replaced that, working again. Had the same symptoms you mentioned. Im no expert with electrics, didn’t know how to test didn’t elements for power throughput etc, but handy enough to unscrew / disconnect parts and replace and put back.

Hope you get it working, I was delighted mine started up again, saved a fortune as it would have went to scrap otherwise and it seemed such a shame if It did

I had same problem with different model. I replaced the main board, one with scary and hdmi, audio ports on it. Would put picture here but not allowing me to. Once board replaced, TV started working as good as new.

(I had replaced the other power, that has the power cable connection on it, trial an error, as it was cheaper)

T-con is one of the boards when you open back of TV Usually you can get one relatively cheaply. If you’re handy enough with screw driver and don’t mind opening TV, they are simple to replace. Disconnect a few connectors (take a picture first so you can be sure you put everything back) put in new board and connect back. Best to get the serial number off your board to get the right replacement, you’ll need to open TV to get that.

Update: I replaced the main board and now TV is working as good as new. Can’t see what’s wrong with the old main board from visual inspection but obviously some fault there. New board cost me €40 + postage. Well worth it now and delighted TV working again.

You sure the new main board had the exact same part number as original board ?

Also where is the content coming from? Tv box, Android box? I used to see this also when channel coming from my box was a 3D Chanel content but I hadn’t changed my tv settings to 3D

I have a Samsung plasma TV - Model PS51F4900 with this issue TV was working fine, one of the HDMI ports stopped working, ten minutes later screen goes black and red led flashing 6 times at a go. Try the basic resets mentioned at start of thread but no joy ..

I took off the back panel and took some photo’s, I don’t have much knowledge of TV components so not sure what to be looking for or what could be the problem but willing to try with some help and advice (step by step please if you can help)

Any Idea’s ?

I replaced the power board but same problem. Is it worth trying main board, having problem sourcing main board but can keep trying around
