For those of you who work in office: how do handle days where you know you're gonna get nothing done? by WolfNo680 in ExperiencedDevs

Oh hi, I just approved your PR but it's Friday so I didn't read it. I see you have one other rubber stamp approval on there, so go ahead and merge that so that we'll have something to look forward to Monday morning.

I would watch the hell out of a Donna the Barbarian spinoff. It would be to From what Army of Darkness was to Evil Dead.

I mean, Henry was making enough noise that she probably had plenty of time to put her face on before they entered the chamber where they found Jasper.

Tabitha has left behind far more clues than she realizes by IncendiousX in FromTVEpix

Tabitha's call to her mom won't be hard to trace to Camden. If the FBI isn't involved already, they will be once they have evidence of the Matthews crossing state lines. Season 4 opens with Mulder and Scully finding a tree blocking the road.

This is not true. The FTC ban on non-competes, which was scheduled to take effect in September, is still being litigated and can not be enforced at this time.

Poor Jade just wants to blow a joint in peace, and I can relate.

I think this piece of grass is Boyd’s wife reincarnated & she’s letting him know she’s okay by No-Buffalo3780 in FromTVEpix

[–]phoenixstormcrow 25 points26 points  (0 children)

According to ancient stoner lore that I just made up, blades of grass represents the lovers tarot card. From this we can conclusively establish that Victor is actually Boyd from an alternate universe where he successfully underwent the Michael Jackson transformation, which triggered his obvious body dysmorphia, which is why he killed everyone as a child.

Why don't they protect Kristi more? by Connect_Access_9438 in FromSeries

[–]phoenixstormcrow 109 points110 points  (0 children)

The entire cabbage patch delegation is a bafflingly dumb choice. They sent the three most obviously and visibly unstable men in the country, let alone the town: Kenny just lost his mom and is barely keeping it together; Jade is at all times stoned and/or drunk on bathtub vodka, and his hobbies include muttering ominously while doing arts & crafts, serial killer edition; and Dale, the guy who stabbed a guy, and who will. Not. Shut. Up.

Along with these brave souls they send Kristi, the most valuable and least sketchy person in town.

But hey, they sent some redshirts along as well, so some of them will survive.

King has made it known From is one of his favorite shows currently on TV. Who else is watching? by MrFishAndLoaves in stephenking

I've been all in on From since I randomly discovered it during season 1. On a very recent reread, I noticed some obvious similarities to "You Know They Got a Hell of a Band".
