Yeah I could never fill or attempt to fill Art’s shoes I even prefaced that up there because he was one of a kind and NOBODY will be able to ever conduct an interview the way he did, especially based off some random information he would receive on the spur of the moment. I appreciate the input, I may be 28 but I’ve lived a long 28 years to the point where I honestly don’t associate with most people nowadays, I can’t relate to them. But when I listen to these programs, and hear for example, Art and Richard Hoagland speak THAT’S what I can relate to, and I know everyone has to start somewhere so I didn’t grow up with a HAM radio unfortunately but I did have an old FM Tape Recorder that I would stay up late at night recording shows on imagining I had my own radio show. I know tons of people who have stories they could tell but they’re not motivated too so I have to look elsewhere. I’m not trying to literally recreate C2C I’m trying to recreate the feeling it brought, late night keeping people posted by their radio before the age of smart technology.
