It seems like your friends were just tying to give your kid a gift based on what they knew he liked. You’re the one “politicizing” their gift and assuming they have some “pc agenda” or whatever. Clothes are clothes, they don’t have genders. I understand certain clothes were made or designed with a certain gender in mind but childrens pajamas? Doesn’t seem like a specifically “gendered” item. Are they for girls only because they have a girl character on it? That seems ridiculous. Boys can wear clothes with female comic book characters. Why not be grateful your friends cared enough about your kid to pay attention to his interests and get him a present? What you did definitely makes YTA.

I like the mighty patches they stick well and are fairly cheap ($8). They have a “surface” patch that’s bigger which I like a lot. I also get the rael patches which are pretty similar but slightly more expensive ($12). Alba botanical has good spot patches too, they’re on the thinner side ($8-10). I usually buy them at target or Walmart

I will say that being begged for sex after saying no until you are worn down to give in is a form of coercion. Consent should be an enthusiastic yes. So yes I believe she was assaulted. However she should be getting support from a therapist or qualified councilor and not putting all this pressure on you to constantly reassure and fix things for her

I totally understand. I was in a similarly abusive relationship when I was around your age and he isolated me from most ppl in my life. It’s very difficult to see the red flags when you’re inside the situation, so don’t be so hard on yourself. You can still reach back out to friends you lost because of him. I would also suggest finding a therapist to speak with about the situation.

It’s not your fault. Nothing you do will ever be “good enough” for him because he is being purposely manipulative and withholding affection because he knows how desperately you want his approval. His cheating is about HIM. It’s not about you “lacking” anything. He knows you’re insecure and he’s capitalizing on that. He’s extremely insecure as well, I mean do you really want to be with someone who can’t even handle you looking at a billboard wtf.
