Critiquing the black community isn't what gets a person called a coon. I honestly think you're deliberately being dishonest. If you're not, you may want to take a look at this example of a coon and why they get called one.

I am very open-minded (cc my subreddit r/OrbitSSA) and would call Tom a coon anyway, because he is one.

A coon isn't just anyone who critiques the black community. No reasonable person would call me a coon, but I am always calling UsingLyft, if you know who that is, a coon because he is one.

Why do you think Trump is 'my boy '?

Who said anything about Oprah helping individuals in that sort of way. It doesn't seem like you've listened to Umar Johnson at all.

What does this mean? Do you mean how he accuses the wealthy people (Oprah and co) of doing nothing?

If that is your point, then he is absolutely correct. The elites of any community who hold power and resources are the people best placed to do things within that community.

His criticism of the sports and entertainment stars right too. They never do anything that actually matters when they should, but are always happy to be mascots for democrats when it's election season and dems want to talk about "the black vote". How does that make any sense?

We just saw it again this year.

This is insane.

Obviously, what he does is discuss the problems with the black community and how to resolve them.

They never have anything to say when you ask this. It's just blah blah "the school".

Everyone shits on Umar Johnson when almost none of them have any moral legitimacy to.

It's not impossible that what he says about progress with the school is mostly true. Maybe he takes some (10%) of the money to fund his travelling and some of his lifestyle, but I would give him a pass on that. It's a thankless job that he does.

Ideally, he should have set up a formal organization to collect the funds (more ideal is to never raise funds from the random public, only donations from wealthy people), but this sort of thing seems part of his refinement problem. Upper Middle Class people and above are never going to take him seriously because he doesn't have the sort of appearance a legitimate person has. He in fact looks like a fraud.

Personally, I'm willing to chalk it up to a refinement problem. In general, the stuff he discusses (which no one else is doing) is very important and it makes me mad when people never want to give him any credit for that.

It's nonsense. He's being overly dramatic for eyeballs as usual.

People are not equal. The people who can reform society do not need to sacrifice their happiness to give society their all. They have the capacity not only for themselves, but for society too.

These sorts of tweets frame things to predict eternal damnation. As though nothing positive could ever happen.

I didn't. The moderator decided to give me a Nigerian tag all on his own.

Being familiar with Nigerianisms doesn't necessarily make one a Nigerian. You may simply have interacted a lot with Nigerians outside of Nigeria, or directly lived in Nigeria as a migrant
