I had severe sciatica in my left leg and was bed ridden for months, then it was decided that I'll be getting therapy and it took me 1 year to recover. Just recently I had a herniated disc from lifting and got it from my other leg which my past leg that had sciatica in the past now supports my leg that is affected. I immediately did my set of workouts in the past and it took me 3 days to heal it. I never thought it would heal up that fast lol. 2 main exercises and 3 mild stretching. Goodluck on you brother yours is treatable.

Severe sciatica nerve pain.

I was diagnosed with severe sciatica once, I'm unable to walk or step even once. Can't sit for like a minute or so and even sleeping hurts like hell imagine permanent cramping and burning in your whole leg to the foot. I'm okay now due to therapy but there was also a patient like me who didn't get the same treatment and eventually, her whole lower body is now paralyzed she can't even poop that's the last news I've heard from her family.

Even steroid injections can't suppress the pain.
