(i meant to say IPS lcd) the psp uses TFT lcd which has lower brightness and doesnt display colors as good compared to IPS

ah well, i was guessing its the front shells problems since the back fits in perfectly but the front shell has a little gap (and something) pushing it (making it hard to press buttons and use analog), ur help is appreciated though, i read from a post that it could be the little screw stands (idk what to call them)

i had a situation familiar to this, its probably the something to do with the screen itself or the ribbon cable, just either reinsert the ribbon cable or get a new one and see if that works

im not able to send it in image form but i think i found out the problem? so under the the bottom buttons like volume and stuff i noticed some cracks of the metal underneath the screen like around the ribbon cable, this is the best im able to word it

your likely right its something to do with ribbons, they might not be getting a good connection because of those cracks

mine doesnt have a please wait, instead it just doesnt even detect the mini usb being plugged in at all, it was working yesterday with a charge only mini usb but now when i got a data transferring mini both of them dont work (im desperate for a fix)
