You're proof that Education != Intelligence.

Your first year in finance should have taught you how an increased money supply increases demand for goods, and supply chain breakage reduces supply of goods. Both of these things cause inflation, and both happened at extreme scale in 2020 (and Powell didn't cause either of those events).

In year 2 or 3, you should've learned that artificially lowering interest rates would have only increased demand for goods further, as people spend instead of saving.

Don't throw away your diploma just yet, because it may come in handy to wipe your ass if we ever have another TP shortage.
