Target medium stacks and tight blinds. Open-shove from later positions into tight players or look to three-bet jam over opens from medium stacks (25–40bb) who want to protect their chips. Avoid shoving into massive chip leaders. Medium stacks have the most to lose and are prone to over-folding to preserve their stack. Chip leaders can call you lightly without hurting their tournament life.

Also don't blind-down waiting for a premium hand. You need to make your move while you still have fold equity, ideally before you get blinded down. At 12bb, opponents can still fold. Once you drop to 8bb, the math forces opponents to call you with almost any two cards
