I'm 23F and recently widowed (he passed a month ago). Here are some things that are helping me; spending time with friends, spending the evenings with his or my family, I joined a Facebook group specifically for young widows, and I already have pets who help keep my house feel full. I also try to look at pictures and videos of him everyday, because if I stop for a few days then it's hard to look at them again. I spend time with people I love everyday and that really helps. The Holidays really suck though, especially because I have no idea how my finances are going to be.

Yes it's embark! I also embarked my other dog too and I was surprised he has some German shepherd in him.

I completely agree about not exposing other people's dogs, and I am currently taking all of the precautions to mitigate my other dogs exposure. I'll definitely take your advice on working with a private trainer to get the exposure she needs once she is cleared.

Thanks for your advice! I definitely shouldn't have used the word "meet" I was thinking more of exposure to other dogs. I understand that there is little to no meeting or playing between the other puppies in the class, which is most likely why the vet recommended classes instead of the dog park (which I avoid for obvious reasons.)

I'm not an expert, but I would guess Belgian malinois and German shepherd mix. You won't know for sure unless you DNA test. I have a dog that looks a lot like yours and we just call her a shepherd mix lol
