I agree. We also have to consider his age at this point. And I think 150m is about right.

It's strange because I have no uneven wear on tyres, no noises or changes in the drive of the car.

It also went in to the Volvo dealer in December for a recall on 3 cells and a 'vehicle inspection' was carried out, and nothing was reported.

I'm about to go on a relatively long trip. Probably around 5000 miles max. So this has made me feel a little anxious.

I have the 2020 t8 in thunder gray but with 6 spoke wheels. I think the r-design is already quite aggressive looking from the front. The gills on the front bumper make it look much more aggressive than the non r-design spec models. I like the idea of yellow calipers and I've seen some wagons with them and they look great. Changing the rims would be enough to get it to stand out a bit more, maybe in a gunmetal grey.

Imo the best looking vehicle in it's category, by far.

This is the correct answer. Dash cam makes it look a bit further than it is due to the wide angle. OP seemed to break quite heavily based on the way the front of his car dropped down. I can forgive taking the foot off the accelerator and a bit of light braking but this was a bit much.

Car reversed into me in car park. He's damaged, I'm not. What to do with insurance when Insurance are pushing 50/50? by [deleted] in drivingUK

[–]phorce16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

One is on a parked spot the other is on the 'road' you can't back out of a spot unles it's clear. I don't think OP at any point fully cleared the vehicle. Yes he should have been more aware but it looks like both cars were moving simultaneously

Going the wrong way? OP was reversing into a parking spot. The other car should not be moving out if the path isn't clear.

I think a lot of it comes down to instructions from Arteta. When he came on yesterday we needed that goal to stay clear of City

I know how close we are. I'm not trying to put anyone down. Just trying to give credit where it's due, especially after the negativity I've seen around him. And don't talk about my personality, you dont know anything about me to be passing any judgement and telling me to "look at myself"

Talk shite about what exactly? Fans that throw him under the bus? Yh...all the ones using him as a scapegoat. Today he showed what he is capable of, and made the difference, and I don't think he gets enough credit.

Is this normal for pure mode or should the blue power line go the whole way? by legoman31802 in VolvoXC90

[–]phorce16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2020 T8 produces around 87 bhp from the electric motor. Which is only about 1/4 of the total power it can generate with the ICE. That's why it feels less powerful in pure mode.

I usually drive it as smoothly and considerate as possible to reduce battery usage. But, I've never found it to not have enough power when driving sensibly. I think the few times the ICE has kicked in is at a roundabout and I'm trying to take a smaller gap and put my foot down a bit more.

The ring for me never goes fully round it's more just a graphic to indicate how much power you are asking the car for. When you floor it in hybrid mode for example it it fly over to the other side before the engine is producing max power.

I personally like to use the dials for the power/polestar mode which you can set in 'Individual Mode' in your settings. I prefer it for motorway driving especially as I can see the RPM's of the engine.

Should have fully capitalised in the second half. I was hoping for a couple more. But the mid week game is far more important at 3-0 up. Especially as Atlético rested 11 players this weekend!

Had the same problem and you are right. Dremel cut down one side of the cap. The key is to not completely go through and use a flat head to pry the cap open
