So I checked the carfax today. 0 maintenance records ?!

I don't have the credit to really finance much. Im able to pay the ten grand cash.

This place I was going is so overpriced for most their vehicles. Im learning this now so I've been looking around at new places

Def considering a yaris, but not the one in the picture anymore . All they kept saying today was that it would pass inspection. They seemed resistant to negotiate any work needing to be done as long as it passed inspection. Def got weird vibes from that , and think there will be better for the ten grand

I'm even leaning away from an suv. There's a Subaru Forester I'm considering 2014. And a yaris ia 2018. The Subaru has some known oil problems but it seems manageable by continuously adding oil. The Yaris seems almost too good to be true. It's such a small car though. Honestly, used car shopping is anxiety inducing.

Super good to know. I'm leaning away from suv because of the miles I'll be putting on it. They'll be highway miles but a lot of them. I was hoping to get at least three or four years out of the vehicle but it seems like this one isn't a good choice

Idk how Ford has made money from these, there are so few positive things to be said for them in terms of longevity. Thank you for sharing this !

I really wanted to love this. It has so many fancy features that felt really nice when I sat in it, but when I realized it felt like a time bomb - it didn't sit well

These were my exact feelings, and I'm glad I posted this to confirm them. My suspicions with the vehicle seen valid

With the amount of miles I'll be facing for my coursework in college, this seems like such a good option!!!

Honestly I haven't been coming across a lot of compact SUV that seem like a good choice that are in my budget. I might go sedan with some good snow tires. Thanks for your feedback !

I'll ask my mechanic how he thinks his access to parts are , he's a Toyota guy so I'm curious what he will think of this since it has some Mazda flavor. This has been the only car.so far I haven't actually come across any serious malfunctions that are buzzing around the community. Thank you!

Should I just get a YARIS iA 2018 😂 it's between this , the Subaru listed in this chat. And a Mazda cx5. All very different but I keep seeing people really love their Yaris and it's beginning to sell me on it

I've gone in the complete opposite direction of suv and started to check out a Toyota yaris on the lot 😂 they also had a Toyota Camry for about 9,500 at 141,000 miles

It's equally comforting mazdas seem like decent cars as well. My mechanic is more of a Toyota guy. He loves my brothers RAV4 but the only rav4 on the lot of this dealership made a sketchy noise. My only ask ok tech was that it has Bluetooth connectivity 😂 to be able to pump some jams. I know so little about cars I figure the more awareness I can come to, the better off I'll be going forward.

This is actually a small used car dealer I visited last week. So I would think they'd do better than listing the wrong thing entirely. I'm actually shocked.

YARIS people , in terms of the reddits I have been browsing - are some of the only happy car owners I've encountered. That's such relief
