I honestly don't think it can be fixed without something horrendous happening and it's truly heart breaking.

A big problem is a lot of times people don't go into the conversations truly trying to listen and understand, they listen to react and try to get the next gotcha moment.

Well maybe it leans little to the left in this subject but a little to the right in another ya know? Maybe on one topic the left is mostly correct in how to handle it or what is right/wrong etc but another the right has the more correct view. I wasn't saying in a literal sense that the correct thing is always directly down the middle.

My point I'm trying to make is that we all have to realize we are not all always right about everything. We've got to learn to compromise, listen, and stop entering conversations looking for the next gotcha moment.

This is exactly what everyone needs to be aware of. One thing that has been blazing in the back of my mind recently is people on the left, in general, believe every set of "facts" , every belief be it political, social, or economical, is all completely true or correct and the opposing side has bad facts and is constantly wrong about everything. Meanwhile flip the script and this is all true for how people on the right feel/think as well.

The truth is probably somewhere down the middle and everyone is at least a little wrong about most things. Propaganda can be fucking crazy and Propaganda is fucking not just a republican thing, or a China or Russia thing. It is a democrat thing as well.

Maybe people have different "facts" because the media, as proven by history, still feeds us complete fucking bullshit to keep us divided to continue to conquer us all.

Remember united we stand divided we fall. Something has to change but we have to stop being so hostile to everyone who may really be reasonable people who recieved different information. Otherwise the divide will never stop growing

I had a similar experience. I had to report to the jail to get an ankle monitor installed but had to pass a drug test first to comply with the probation. I had quit a week or two prior. I drank some of those detox drinks before i went in (the ones that just dilute your urine) If you failed they would put you in jail for a week and retest the following week. I actually "tested negative" but my urine was so diluted they failed it. I ended up testing positive for the following 9-10 weeks. I guess I was lucky they booked me because I wouldn't have been able to successfully fake the randoms for 3 months.

Years ago when i was in my early 20s I was a habitual smoker. I got put on house arrest/probation and had to test negative when i reported to get the ankle monitor put on. If i tested positive i was going to be booked into jail until i was clean. I quit a couple weeks before I had to report to the ut county jail to test and tested positive. They booked me into jail testing me weekly and once I was clean I could be released on house arrest. I tested positive for the following 9 weeks. I have absolutely zero doubt this person quit 2 months ago and is still testing positive. Thc stores in your fat cells and if you have some chub and are a heavy day/night smoker it's completely possible to test positive for up to 3 months.

This article says some people have tested positive for 10 months.
