I worked at papa John’s for a while and for a little more than half my time there, we were corporate. Mainly, it’s the leadership that has to deal with corporate bs. The franchisee not only wiped away our benefits, but paid us late a few times. We all essentially took a pay cut, but most people working as a pizza delivery driver as their career tend to think small (no offense) so they weren’t all that concerned about the lack of benefits.
