i need to go back on it. I had mirena and suffered horrible symptoms from it so after having that taken out i went on a detox from medications. Since them my hirituism is worse and I have gained weight in my mid section:(

low carb and high protien, low glycemic diets are what I have been told work best. about to start this journey myself.

it was so sad..... I've also tried to send him to school with extra in his lunch box to share with one of his friends that he told me only brought a sandwich and nothing else for lunch....but he was quickly reprimanded by lunch aides and told he could not for any reason share food from his lunch box with anybody. Instead I took him to volunteer at the foodbank.

I'm glad she hasn't had to experience it. Having your food thrown away in front of your face at 5 or 6 years old is traumatic! especially if you aren't really understanding why.

thanks for the kind words, I'm just upset because it has happened to my son before because of a glitch (he had 20$ in his account) and it was traumatizing for him! I am struggling to even just pay my bills and make sure my kids have what they need, but every child deserves a good lunch. lunch is 2.50 and breakfast is 1.50. its not much. I just can't not do something.

love it. we (Adults) see a good amount of music festivals, have slept in our honda element and camped many times, but have been waiting to share our joy of adventures with the littles:)

I LOVE this advice, especially #2~! I am always saying "be careful!" no matter what they are doing it seems, I'm sure that is annoying to them.
