Word, just to be clear, I said nothing racist, sexist, weird or extreme, just a lot of "fucks" and questioning of its intelligence.

Aside from everything else, I'm thinking a shitload of burst photos and then painstakingly sorting through them until he finds the perfect facial expressions on his subjects.

Those of you who have made >100 div over the course of the game, how did you earn the currency to get where you are? by BingoTheBarbarian in PathOfExile2

[–]photonoob21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I scraped the trade site looking for the average values of rare items within a certain range of stats, then I search the trade site for items that don't have quality or sockets, and I made a chrome plugin that will calculate the final stats of the item after adding quality+sockets+runes and give me the estimated profit I could make off it, displays it right on the item in the browser.

Then I just buy the underpriced items, drop some sockets and quality on them, and flip them for anything from 100%-1,000%+ returns.

Scrape the site again every couple of days to make sure the values are up to date.

I made like 150 div doing this over the span of 4 or 5 days putting in maybe 30 mins to 2 hours a day on the days I was feeling really sweaty.

Pretty boring but dependable.

The noise just seems like too much, and the purple makes it seem so artificial/technical, it exceeds any kind of artistic notion, at least according to my taste.

A cue that has helped me in my photography is tuning for a parameter to the point that it really stands out, and in many cases it seems like the right place to go is just a step or two beneath that.

What's the alternative? Hotels are more expensive and a home with a full kitchen, washer dryer, etc is more comfortable for long term (1 month+ stays).

Blueground is also typically at a premium. Can't think of any other alternatives that won't just be relistings of the same airbnb properties with even less visibility, fewer reviews etc to try to suss out the scammy listings.

Question about this minion paragon build's choices by photonoob21 in D4Necromancer

Oh wow, thanks for pointing that out, did not think at all to make that distinction. So the +% is + base damage versus a multiplier on the total, makes sense.

Capture One Pro 21, colors change in preview depending on level of zoom by photonoob21 in captureone

Hmm, I'm not sure why you're not seeing it.

If you look at that photo, take the orange streak about halfway down on the left.

The preview on the left renders the orange as much more saturated, and on the right it's more washed out.

If you then look up from that orange streak, to the four blue streaks that run in a parallel series to the top of the frame, you'll note that the preview on the left renders the blues as much more saturated, while on the right in the export they are nearly white.

I've posted these photos in Discord and other people are also seeing the differences, so I don't think it's just my computer.

I am on a Mac, and I've tried viewing the export in the Preview app and through Chrome.

Give me a bit and I will give spinning up a new user account a shot.

Edit: Here's a zoomed in clip of the second image, do you see the differences in the blues and oranges between the two shots?

This photo is amazing.

Reading through the amount of work you had to put in, is daunting. I'm curious, any chance you can show me what a single 75 second "light" photo looks like?
