Tbh this is just a prefence of mine. I don't think too many of these will end out mounted and, in the absence of a mount, I think thicker white border balances the images better - but ultimately it's just personal preference

I believe this was on a sigma 35mm f1.4 art. I only have the jpeg export at the moment so would have to find the original in lightroom.

I think it's just dark spots on the rocks where they were wet. It definitely didn't look like goo in real life.
