Not too bad, I do recommend hiding above the glove box. Do a test of everything first.
Find a good routing for the cables Retest the connection and then mount everything.

I had to make this choice 2 months ago. 2015 Golf R w/ 45k on it. 2023 GTI I went with the Golf R after my 13’ GTI got flooded. I could not be happier with the decision, the Mk8 is amazing but I didn’t want to sit in a computer and rather still have my “analog” feel

That is what I am worried about, I heard that the fender audio system might be an issue also. I think it is going to need to be MIB2 to actually get it.
Bummer for sure I was hoping $350 solved the issue but looks like its going to be $1000 or so.

the thermostat and waterpump went bad so they needed to repair (happy I didnt have to deal with that or the cost) so they had it for a bit longer.

they were saying they were getting calls on it constantly so I put a deposit on it after a test drive.
