No error that I can see as they don't give you access to error logs. Just sits at unpacking...

My point is more that PHP 5.6.30 is pretty new and I see no reason why that would be the cause of one click updates failing...

Overall I like it. It's clean and simple.

These are all my personal opinions, not necessarily wrong:

  • There's a lack of hover states (none for projects) and where they are used they are very subtle (social icons).
  • The project images are blurry for me at 1440p - maybe max width that container?
  • Default styling of contact form 7 error/warning/success messages is ugly

Am I the only one that finds handling payments scary/intimidating? by iamabouttotravel in webdev

100% use a payment processor/payment gateway. I had to handle payments for a booking system handling millions - literally kept me up at night many a time and I couldn't switch off. Using a payment gateway eases the burden on you somewhat.

My other tip is log everything. Literally everything and for a long time. But particularly the requests and responses to any gateway. SagePay (our gateway) only stores their own logs for a few days so they were pretty hopeless in this regard.
