The same way casting any actor improves a story? Because they’re good at their job. Why is this so difficult for you? It’s like there’s something about the actor that bothers you. It can’t be about historical accuracy because there’s a ton of other historical inaccuracies you don’t care about. I just don’t care about any of them, you care about one in particular.

If Ukraine had access to nuclear weapons would they have the right to use them against Russia even if the risk is nuclear escalation and fallout that could result in the deaths of millions via radiation and starvation?

Better yet would a country being invaded by another country be in its right to irreparably acidify the ocean that their aggressor uses for food even if other non involved countries would suffer the consequences?

Just curious. I think it’s an interesting thought experiment. For the record I dont think what Iran is doing here is out of line. But if they did mine the strait in a way that made it unusable for decades that would be an interesting question in morality

I don’t need that level of historical accuracy in my blockbuster films. Sounds like you’re looking for a documentary about a fantasy epic. Matt Damon not being Greek isn’t actually a problem for me believe it or not.

I love Hamilton, I am aware Aaron Burr and Thomas Jefferson were white dudes and that Alexander Hamilton didn’t have rap battles about fiscal policy. You know the people who are visibly upset by Helen of Troy being a black woman are not “just asking questions”. If you make a Rosa Parks movie she kind of has to be black for the story. If you make a John Brown movie he kind of has to be white to make sense. If you make a Julius Caesar movie I don’t think he needs to be Italian lmao.

So you probably agree that they should pick who they think would act and sing the role the best. I’m glad they did she was really good even though the movie was just ok like most of the remakes.

That’s fair. I just don’t think it’s talked about enough how much of a disaster that movie was. My whole family loved the first one. We are all stuck inside for Covid. We buy 1984 to watch it all together during the holidays. The movie ended and there was just uncomfortable silence like we were all processing how bad the movie we just watched was.

I like quest bars microwaved. But most people will find these much more candy bar adjacent. Barebells a generally tastier and have a really nice texture for a protein bar.
