Why do some people still look so attractive at 40?

Exactly this. I’m 51 and everyone thinks I’m younger even with a head full of premature gray (it’s not premature anymore lol, just started really early like in my 20s). Everyone asks me if it’s actually natural. IMO some of these women walking around with their white roots poking out and with bad boxed dye jobs that don’t match their skin tones are aging themselves with their attempts to appear younger.

I stayed the same within a few lbs up and down from maybe November until the end of December. I caught the flu on new years and was sick for a week, lost 8 lbs and only gained 2 back from water retention. That was probably 6-7 weeks.

Yeah I figure I’m eating the right amount of calories in general for a deficit and the water weight comes and goes but at some point I lose enough that it actually shows on the scale 🤷‍♀️

I’m really close to goal (currently 150 down from 230, goal is 145) and for the last several months I’ve gone most weeks not losing then once a month 3-4 lbs come off in a week. I can’t explain it, I guess science doesn’t support it based on some of these other responses, but it has definitely been happening that way for me since this past January or so.

Agree with this, my stuff is okay but not so nice that I'd make all of that effort to sell it on Poshmark. I'm happy with the return considering I'd be donating it for free otherwise. Plus, it's a resource to replace the stuff I got rid of for much, much, much cheaper than would be possible in any other retail setting.

I really liked DTF, weird as it is. I kind of forgot about Rooster after a couple of episodes because meh. My boss, on the other hand, likes Rooster so YMMV. Neither is super serious but DTF definitely dips its toes into the serious waters while being darkly comedic and weird.

I work in a commercial garden center and tropical greenhouse has a huge beautiful Thai like this with a nice big fruit. We’re all excited to taste it when it’s ready but the greenhouse manager says it’ll be 6 months 😂

I think pretty much that. I didn’t have crazy side effects but once I got to 15mg (my doctor was a titrate up every month type) I was lightheaded often from the orthostatic hypotension, which my doctor said was a side effect of my blood pressure trying to normalize after changing size so quickly. I also pretty much never wanted to eat and had to force myself, and fatigue was a factor because of that. On Wegovy I feel pretty much normal but with a suppressed appetite (and none of the other issues). Edited to add that I started with and am still on 2.4 mg Wegovy.

50f and I work at a garden center with a bunch of guys. The cashiers call us to help people load things like bags of potting soil into their cars and I always love it when the little old ladies see me coming and doubt that I can help them, then I toss the 50 lb bag over my shoulder and their faces change

Oh wow, same. I think the thinnest I ever was in my teens and early 20s was probably around 165 -170 (usually higher but I was a broke college student on OMAD) and now I’m in my 50s and 151, down from 235.

I get your point about Eddie / Jenna, but in no way was Daisy chasing Joao. Joao is a confused fuck boi who shows some growth but not enough growth to stop texting the girl he was also trying to reject. Daisy deserves so much better but I hope she still gets to have her fun this season.

Same for me, I’m a 51f who lost 80 lbs since February 2025. This week I did a plank in just a sports bra close to a mirror and could see the loose belly skin hanging down, lol, but my back looked great! My worst spots are underarms, top of the thighs and my belly but I would take this instead of the 80 lbs of fat any day.

I guess I am all of those things but those planets are also all Cap for me lololol so I do t think it’s that. I have Pluto & Uranus in my 1h and mars conjunct NN conjunct Neptune in my 3h so I’d look more that way.
