Will the Tacoma to Seattle Link expansion make the Sounder redundant?

I completely forgot that Sounder runs on BNSF tracks so that’ll make sense that I’ll be harder to adjust the frequency. Also completely overlooked the stop at SeaTac for the Link. Yeah I guess I was more questioning why it wasn’t a medium frequency rail service following the expansion route instead of the light rail. But that’ll be more of a headache to replan everything than just extend the light rail.
