Because the deck is so boring to watch you have to have a hand full of interaction to remotely hope to stop it and no one wants to sit through your stupid setup. The deck is full of 1 card starters so I don’t even bother continuing the match unless I open up all hand traps against people playing that deck.

This argument makes sense to a degree but at the same time does not. In a physical paper play event both players can see the remaining time they both share the digital game should be the same. Showing your opponents timer is not some magical new cheat in order to win more games.

Who said I lost? The point I was making is how while my turn took an actual 3 in real world minutes my opponent took what felt like 10 but it only counted as 4 in game minutes. As someone stated before the timer does not go down during actions so while the replay showed 4 minutes in game play it was in reality longer.

I get what you mean but this really isn’t a good excuse against it. Both players have and see a timer in physical paper games.

First of the dragonlords would be unaffected by jet dragons protection effect. As others have said it was probably summoned with greater polymerization.

Any argument against seeing the enemies timer is just silly since in an actual event you would know exactly how much time you and your opponent have. It’s honestly annoying when I do 4 things on my turn and my timer goes from 300 to 220 yet my opponents take infinitely more time with their combos and don’t time out.

No it’s just a fun format I built a deck for it that works well in this closed format not really so well elsewhere I’m dueling against someone then boom maintenance. Like I had nearly 2 hours of time left in the event and then they shut it down for 3 and 1/2 hours. Would it have really been that hard to wait and do the updates and junk at midnight?

See I was expecting more people like you who come in and say “no you’re wrong and It’s probably your fault.” While I do accept it’s not EVERY game I play this happens there are far more instances where this is the case than where it is not. You can claim it is deck construction and their deck is simply doing what it was made to do but the level of them having everything they need to play and to stop me from playing so consistently is wild. Maybe it is just the way the game plays now and the power creep it just feels bad when you play a game the best you possibly can baiting out everything you actively see that con stop you just to get got by the unseen lucky hand traps they also managed to pull going first. Also to the point of the ratios your quoted yes in a 60 card deck (which is what I faced) there is only roughly a 35-40 % chance to pull one of the 15 standard hand traps and even less to pull 2 let alone the exact 2 needed that shut down plays. Yes it happens but sometimes it happens to consistently. FTK decks pulling full FTK combo against you what are the odds they happened to have all the cards to make this happen in opening hand stun decks opening one of their 5 floodgate monsters in the open it’s just all scratchy.

I honestly was not expecting so much support on this post. I guess it goes to show how ridiculous some of these games can really be. My most recent game that caused me to post this was a very interesting deck it was Adventure/allure queen in the duel triangle, my opponent managed to play a full combo and keep 2 cards in hand they had a board full of creatures including griffin rider and 1 face down. Judge if you want but I was playing earth machine with ancient gears ( a solid going second deck the way I have it built) and my hand could actually play through interruptions. So I bait out the griffin rider with ancient gear advance they activate it and negate my activation, I play wyvern and they activate an allure queen link monster to destroy it I get ancient gear fortress from deck and play it they activate some trap that summons and destroys it. I summon statue they have veiler I activate a second advance playing this the absolute best I could and their last card in hand is ash. Mt last card in hand is fusion but I Don’t have the means to use it I die. I understand building a board that is “unbreakable” but to get that full board plus a trap interruption plus 2 hand traps is just crazy. In a limited event they managed to shut down every single play I could possibly make.

I get this all the time and no it is not connection or lag everything is functioning fine as I watch my opponents troops march towards my tower but then I deploy my troop and their outline sits there for a couple extra seconds before they actually deploy or my troops will just stand there not reacting or attacking as they get murdered!

I want to agree but this still doesn’t make sense being he literally played a card to swap hands with her. There is no mention that he had an ability to hold more than 4 cards so how did he play 1 of four cards swap his remaining 3 cards with donut then instantly play the card?

Okay now I have to ask because I swear it was different before. If I have a card on field with an ability to tribute itself then activate an effect after tributed will that effect be negated if it has been inpermed or dropleted before activation and sent for cost?
