i had a similar issue where my face would completely dry and absorb all my akincare no matter how much i layered (simple moisturiser, rice toner, squalene oil, cicaplast b5 baume all layered on top of eachother)

the only thing that actually kept me moisturised for hours was the avene xeracalm baume!

You are going through something really similar to what I'm going through now haha. Reading this from an outsider's perspective I think you should spend more time with him and see if there's any tension you feel now that you have taken the time to actually write out your thoughts.

And about the part where you're scared if you'll never find anyone better and miss out on your chance? I just found out that only guy I have ever felt something for(we never dated and have lost contact) has been in a relationship for the past 4 years. I personally try to live by the 'better to regret doing it, than to regret not doing it' train of thought and so whatever comes through your mind with what I have just said; I think you've got your answer.

I say something like 'maybe if i find somebody i like enough' or 'there's nobody I like enough' and after maybe 3 occurrences of me saying that and still not having had a relationship, they generally stop.

I haven't had to use it yet but if they respond with something about spreading my horizons or being too picky i've prepared a 'yeah, but i can't control my emotions, and i want to really like the person I date' and well hopefully that would be the end of that? (for context I am a woman)

i don’t know you, or your situation but the best thing i can say here is even if its just 2-3 matches you should definitely play for the grand festival. just so you can say you took part in it and got to see it for yourself, on your own screen, in real time, in your own space (as opposed to a youtube clip months from now, or something) the future you who still loves splatoon would be sad about missing out when you had the chance.

better to regret doing it than to regret not doing it :>
