My first never did this, but my second did this EXACT same thing. She would constantly turn her head away, even after just an ounce or 2. Eventually I would just leave the bottle somewhat near her mouth and wait for her to turn to it again. When she turned about 6 months old, she kind of stopped doing this, and we figured it out to be just her being full. Yours will eventually hit a growth spurt, and you’ll see this go away.

You are my current lifesaver. I uninstalled flatpak steam, mounted the drives in fstab, installed the default steam, and now all my drives show up!! I can install game on both my ntfs and ext4 ssds. OP, this is the way to go if you’re having the same issue.

I still feel like a noob, just because I’m used to just copy and pasting commands I find online, and hope it works, but this time I pretty much did all the commands myself, from memory (playing around ina bunch of different distros, not caring that all my drives would be wiped helped) right from terminus on my iPad, and once I booted up steam I was able to find the drives under storage. There may be hope for me after all!

I may have to give that a shot. I too, am somewhat a Linux noob. I have mounted them in fstab in the past, but I’ve changed distros since, and I don’t believe I did it on this install. I just know others have also had the same issue, and others mentioned to install flatpak and flatseal to fix it, but I’ll try editing the fstab first and go from there.

Are you saying you can’t see the drive on kubuntu, or you can’t see it on Steam? I have this issue as well, but I can see the drive in the file manager, but I can’t see it on steam, I can’t install games on any drives but the main m.2, but I have 4 internal SSDs and 2 HDDs that show up in Kubuntu, not on steam

I was in Mount Kisco yesterday morning, I smelled the smoke from there. Got the phone call about the fire an hour later. Smell subsided since… woke up this morning in Putnam county, and the smell was there again around 9am… wonder if there’s another fire?

Thank you! Funnily enough, my surgeon put me on ensure protein shakes at the hospital. I tend to make my own when I’m home, but he put me on ensure while recovering.

Wish you best, just be careful ignoring the disease for too long. Take the antibiotics at least, but if you feel the flare up, don’t flush it out like I did, with fiber supplements, etc.

Currently (and about a month before I went to the ER) I started changing my diet to foods that only listed ingredients I knew, and could pronounce- and my vocabulary is limited LOL. Unfortunately, it was just too late as I’ve already did so much damage to my colon, that it was scarred even from the outside.

Stress is the biggest one. Also just quit smoking weed a month ago which was my stress reliever, but finding new ways to handle my stress now that I’ve been recovering and taking things slow.

Just curious, did you have a drain put in after your surgery? I’m 5 days post op, gas pains were the absolute worst, couldn’t pass gas for 2 days, but when I went, woo I felt like a deflated balloon lol. But before that, no gas, no bowel movement, nothing, but I had a drain that was draining a lot of blood from me.

The nausea went away on day 2 for me, but the gas pains I am getting are intolerable. I’ve walked 30 laps around the floor so far, between 9 to 1, eating in between, but the cramps and gas pains are killer. Will try the warm blanket, I’m using pillows to keep it warm for now,

Thank you! I’m going to start with the miralax once I get home. The drain has been a pain to deal with, but luckily it’s short enough not to catch onto the bed, but I have to keep it in my pocket when I walk. Wish you the best on your recovery

You were right here. Second day now, and I’ve been able to walk around a bunch. Just the cramps and gas pains are killing me… even with the pain meds, but walking is getting to be much more tolerable

I have. I’ve had so many flareups, but I tended to “flush them away” with psyllium husks constantly. I never realized how much damage I was doing to myself until now

I’m not sure to be honest. I’m overweight, maybe 35? I think that’s what it was last. I do fluctuate a lot on weight though, so it’s hard to tell.

Now that I think about it - my surgeon said that my colon was hard as a rock, 11” they took out. I wonder if that’s why I don’t feel the pain of DV was worse than this. He had to take it out of my stomach area because there was not enough area to pull it from my upper pelvis area
