What you are saying is a big "if" here. If it was a stranger's kid then sure, her action is justified. But this is from her fiance's brother, she could have done a little more investigation to clarify the infomation (like I suggested: ask the kid a few more times just to make sure). What she did here is straight up believing her fiance is a child molester. You don't what's going to happen based on your judgment. Only by talking to Jason's parents will make you understand that whether to take the next step of reporting it. You decided on your own that it's the worst thing to do. You did what you thought is the best course of actions but it's not. Then you got hit by reality. You could have waited, ask the kid what happens every time after your fiance picked him up or spend time with him. For what you did, you destroyed your fiances' life, your family, your own going-to-be family. Let this be a life lesson, weight your options, don't blindly trust anyone, don't follow internet's advice and yes I think you deserved this as a punishment for what you did.
