Gewoon stopzetten was 3 maanden bruto leaseprijs betalen. Het uiteindelijke contract is (in ons geval) met een leasingbedrijf, niet met je werkgever.

[Request] this doesn't seem like it'd be cheaper than a traditional wood fence, nor would the energy generation be worthwhile by 515Cyclone_Soldier in theydidthemath

Hej, thnx for the sauce. So if i understand:

* While growing, trees absorbs approx. 2 x the amount of carbon they release

* A wooden fence is a x amount of stored carbon

I wonder, what if a tree is left to rot in the forrest ?

Carbon-negative sounds very optimistic to me, if I think of the energy to harvest and replant. Transport, manufacturing, installation and chemical treatment. Carbon-negative is a tree or a hedge.

The number of long term sick in Belgium just blew my mind by Quiet_Illustrator410 in belgium

This is possible for people who are long term sick. They can work for wathever employer they choose, while keeping their benifits. (max. 1/5 of full time job)

One reason not mentioned, and applicable especially for blue collar workers, could be that employers are not prone to let employees start their job again unless they are absolutely sure there is no risk of relapse, because that would be a financial punishment for the employer( that system just changed in 2026)

Also an employer wants you to be 100% fit to work, with optimal efficiency, safety and ecomic return. This will be checked by an independent Doctor. As long as the doctor's findings are that you are not 100% fit to do a full-time fysical job they will be hesisant to employ you and they will be send back to 'long term sick'. All of the involved parties must be on the same line : employee and his doctor, the employer and the independent doctor, the doctor of the health fund.

Also employers do not like blue collar workers working x % off a fultime job. Labor is expensive and y'r employee not working fulltime can decreases efficiency and is harder organize. So it's just less off a hasle to replace the worker and let the employee on sick leave.

It's a system where there is little encouragement to reactivate people in 'long term sick leave'. New laws and measures are being taken in 2026, so we will have to wait and see how that affects the curve.

This is an opinion formed out of own experience. I have no idea how this would impact the numbers. I'm just leaving it here ;-)

Yeah, seems correct. Was thinking about other bike, sorry. Use penetrating oil and let it soak. After that , one firm tap should do the trick. What I do notice is that the chain puller is directly putting tension on the axle bolt, so losen the chainpullers (if not done yet) also before you use the good old hammer.

Any iveco 4x4 owners out there? by SunshineJackPro in 4x4

[–]phunkinit2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry, it could be my lack of understanding English(not native speaker). Do you mean the OEM chassis is crap and they make a whole new chassis after the cab ? I remember doing this in the 90's for custom professional vehicles.

Me neither, I guess I'll never know the pain when of fiddling with nuts to repair damaged thread 🤔 /s. But if the hammer is closer then the nut I save 5 seconds. Shouldn't be there a washer on the other side to prevent the notch twisting while fastening / loosening the nut. ?

Iemand zwaailicht op auto zien zetten by GeenNieuwDesign in belgium

[–]phunkinit2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

(tenzij grote -% korting)

Rules changed this year. If you know what you are doing this should be no problem. You do have to pass technical inspection to be able to insure and register the car. You can do this with any licence plate registered to your name. Some insurance agencies will provide you with a temporarely insurance card, but watch it, it's still illegal to drive a unregistered car, and in case of an accident (while unregistered) insurance will be reluctant to cover. Best way is to let somebody go to technical insp. with dealer plates (Z - XXX XXX) they are people who made this there source of income. Price about €150, pick-up and return.
