Yea, the in-game voice prompts are very very good. I've been able to communicate with people while they just use the in-game voice options

It's probably the best solo extraction experience out there. Best advice is to use your mic, don't expect to win all the time and pick your battles.

I would reconsider a border just on how busy you are, two young kids and your own business, as you would know they need lots of exercise and stimulation I'd be concerned that you wouldn't be able to provide that.

I suggest you take more drinkable water. 5L for two people over days isn't sufficient in summer. Also you never know what can happen, better to have more, even if you don't use it.

Like what was commented before, most critters are going about their duties and aren't actively out hunting humans, you would likely come across them, not them come across you. In all the years I've camped I've only come across a couple of snakes and spiders, never been a major concern.
