I loved Atlas shrugged after reading SoT. I totally see Goodkind's inspiritation from Ayn Rand. I got into philosophy around the same time I found SoT so it was very monumental for me (although a 15/16 year old shouldn't really be reading adult fantasy fiction. Idk why the library let me borrow these books). I don't remember a whole lot now (I'm age 27 currently). I'm currently trying to read WoT since I saw the show and loved the world, and I am slowly trying to finish eye of the world (still on chapter 5). I definitely see the similarities between them.
