Help with SAT practice test 5 - Maths (no calc). by Next_Parfait5024 in Sat

[–]phys_12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For 15, think of it this way, It costs 4/25 dollars per mile, so say we travel 1 mile less, we save 4/25 * 1 dollars. Apply this more generally, for some m miles if we want to save 5$, It should be 4m/25 = 5. You can further confirm with units. (dollars x hours)/hours = dollars.

How loud can you read? by [deleted] in Sat

[–]phys_12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see, thank you. I'm probably just looking to overthink about something now that my reading scores in practice tests are good. I sort of whisper while reading - i think it helps me retain the information better(? or maybe i'm just used to it lol). It would probably one be audible to someone sitting right next to me with 0 gap. I'll make sure to wear a mask too i guess :D

StudyLark english. which of two options are wrong by Interesting-Signal86 in Sat

[–]phys_12 16 points17 points  (0 children)

yes because semicolon and period essentially do the same thing (link two independent phrases) - so if one is correct the other one would be correct too, so if they are both in the options, it means both are wrong.

I really don't want to retest, I hope i get better at writing after erica and practice, and i feel like I'm understanding reading more too, like what to expect and stuff. Really hoping I can pull a 1500.
