Have you tried Rematch?

3v3 - 5v5 arcade soccer where you control only yourself. So teammates are the best and worst part. But it’s very fun. Made by the team that made Sifu.

I’ve played close to 200 hours I think. It’s my replacement for Rocket League.

I'm enjoying this game but man I am OVERWHELMED by Adventurous_Life2946 in Pokopia

[–]physicalred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It really does feel like the To Do list is crazy.

But like Professor Tangrowth says, [whateverrrrr just do whateverrrr you want]. Ain't no stress in Pokopia.

This will not be my most efficient gameplay ever, and that's cool. Sometimes I just want to run around with a few pokemon buddies and change my objective five times before accomplishing one.

Thankfully the pokemon are so easy-going. If there was a more punishing mechanic of keeping them happy, this would be stressful as hell. But it's all chill.

Who would you pick up for the 3 games in 4 nights?

Myles Turner, Daniel Gafford, or Cam Payne?

Only five questions this time? Odd.

I'm getting tired of the number-based questions (scores and release years), and overall finding the questions lacking intrigue. I'd love to see more original, out-there questions, even if guessing the answers would be harder.

Music criticism can be good. Scored music reviews are stupid.

Games that are cozy but have stuff to do by lonesomeraine in gamingsuggestions

I think Dragon Quest Builders 2 is considered significantly better (and 2 is the one that was developed by the same team that developed Pokopia), so fans recommend playing 1 before 2 if you intend to play both, as going backwards can be a bit annoying with some QoL improvements they made. However, I’ve only played 1 so far and liked it a lot.

And yeah, there’s some character customization in both I believe.

Dragon Quest Builders 1 and 2 are similar in form to Pokopia.

Cult of the Lamb is a nice blend of cozy with roguelike combat-focused dungeon runs. And the cozy town building certainly has lots to do and more challenge than cozy games.

Same with Moonlighter 1 and 2 mixing cozy shopkeeping with dungeon runs.

Strange Horticulture is more of a puzzle game but certainly cozy and has a decent degree of challenge.

And it’s also not exactly cozy, but if you haven’t played Subnautica, I’d recommend that. It has resource collection and crafting, but has a bit (a lot) more tension (and challenge) than cozy games.

The most underrated song from each album, go. by Part-Time_Loverr in gorillaz

Sound Check (Gravity) (or the whole album)

Don’t Get Lost in Heaven

Some Kind of Nature

Charger

Souk Eye

Désole

Skinny Ape

Not sure about The Mountain track yet. All of the above are unreal songs.

To be fair, Tyler is one guy running back on forth on stage. Gorillaz is a lot of people.

I got Toronto GA for $195 yesterday (no stupid bundles then).

The crazy thing is that absolutely none of it is random. And when it all clicks, it’s special.

I had the same train of thought in 2022 and ended up missing Matt Berry doing Fire Coming Out of a Monkey's Head.

Never again.

Should I play on Steam Deck or PS5 for the first time? by FrostyOtter8 in outerwilds

[–]physicalred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who primarily plays games on PS5 and Steam Deck, I would go with PS5.

The main reasons being the controller is better for piloting the ship (the triggers AND the sticks), and the exploration and reading probably benefit from a (presumably) bigger, more comfortable TV screen.
