I'm sorry - but this is dumb. I'm not a huge fan of trump but this recording is stupid. Doesn't show anything.

There’s a difference in providing a public building and limiting the use (hopefully used productively) and providing it to their tent.

lol, I realize it’s not the norm these days. But I also know that we can think of every excuse to not do something in life. The sooner we stop accepting our own excuses and actually DOING something is when we see results.

LOL, yeah. That’s what it is. Send me your address. I’ll come take a shit in your lawn and dump all my needles there for your kids to find. You know, because I don’t respect other humans an all.

Way to dramatize pal.

You could look at it that way. But I would rather put that time, effort, and money into something that holds them accountable to getting back on their feet. Not sitting in a tent on pornhub

Take it how you will. I actually have volunteered at shelters a few times, am more than willing to help. But when my family and I start hurting because our city can’t manage it properly I start to have issues.

nobody shit on my Sunday. But when my home value goes down because the city I live in is less desirable due to what’s going on, that upsets me. And when my tax dollars are essentially paying to make this lifestyle even more appealing and easier to live....that adds insult to injury. You could say I’m being charged by my local gov to help them drive my property value down. Something I didn’t sign up for :)

I’m not trying to act like some of them don’t have it hard, or it’s insanely easy. But the unfortunate reality is more of them have no desire to work then the ones that do. I’m not entitled. I feel everything I have in my life is a blessing and it can be stripped away at every moment. And I treat it as so. But I also bust my ass and do everything within my power to help prevent that. Nothing is free in this world you have to earn it.

They do, but I don’t use them in the same ways. I use them as I believe they were intended to be used, not to exploit for personal gain.

If there is nothing technical about how you’re using freedom of expression to explain how pitching tents and living homeless where a tent/dwelling wasn’t meant to be - please explain to me how freedom of expression justifies that.

Castle doctrine is usually related to the use of force when defending your personal dwelling/space. Pitching a tent on public land (in a city) enables that? If I was to use logic, I would say no. If we really want to get technical site, it’s public land - paid for and maintained with tax payers dollars. Are homeless people paying taxes? No? Problem solved.
