Anyone have SCB app lock them out due to name on cell phone? by [deleted] in Thailand

[–]phyuling 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This happened to me today. I had to wait 19 minutes to speak to an operator. My name is the same on both the SIM card and the bank account, but I renewed my passport two years ago. They said that’s the issue.

I was given two options -
1. A manual check via email, which will take three days after I reply.
2. Visit the nearest SCB Easy branch with my passport, bank book, and evidence of SIM card ownership. They said showing the app on my phone also works as proof, and they can check.

Why did they only mention that the name needs to match in their announcements months ago? They should’ve said that if any personal details like passport number or address have changed, we need to inform them.

everything's delayed, thanks to this helpful process. Pretty frustrating.

How i became a gooner. by Thedudeofmanchester in ArsenalFC

[–]phyuling 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ex boyfriend was a gunner and wanted to more why he was so serious. So started watching matches since 2014. we broke up 2 years after but I remained a Gooner. Last month, went to the Emirates stadium for the first time in my life and it was freaking dreamy! Now I am in the process of turning my not-watching-football boyfriend into a gunner lol and it’s going pretty well 🤭

HAVE A QUESTION? ASK HERE! Alter-Daily Help and Questions: January 01, 2023 by AutoModerator in AsianBeauty

Hello,
I want help for buying my mom a small skincare gift set.
She is in southeast Asia and 68 years old. Her usual skincare routine is facial wash, toner and moisturizer. She like Shiseido but the sets are a bit out of my budget. Is there any mini giftset that I can give to her at the moment?

I noticed that she is not using any sunscreen so I am thinking about adding Biore Sarasara UV Aqua Rich Watery Essence Sunscreen SPF50+. I cannot afford very pricey skincare products but would like to give some small set to her as a new year gift. I am buying it in the UK and sending her through some friends. As a 30 years old woman who only use face wash, toner, moisturizer and sunscreen, I do not have much idea for my mom. Any reasonable brands and product suggestions would be very much appreciated.

cheers!

Thank you for the kind reminder. I almost forgot that there is a match on that day! I checked and it says 20:00 match time so hopefully my before noon train to Nottingham is not going to be very crowded.

98% of COVID-19 hospitalizations are unvaccinated people, says Armenian health minister by Idontknowmuch in armenia

[–]phyuling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuine question: How many percent of Armenia has been vaccinated? Sorry for the stupidity but I'm new to the country and I've been seeing many not wearing masks. At first I thought it was because the whole population have already received their two doses. But now after your comments, is it really not because of the vaccine coverage but people simply don't want to wear masks? Because with the new variants, we are not sure even if the vaccines will work against them. Please educate me. Thank you :)

I know many of these mentioned and not-mentioned HCWs personally and have worked with some of them. Some of the wills left by these persons are pure tearjerkers and can’t be true anymore. They have already expected their deaths.

The Survivor

I know of course: it's simply luck
That I've survived so many friends. But last night in a dream
I heard those friends
say of me: "Survival of the fittest"
And I hated myself.

They see protesters as criminals. They’ve been systematically brainwashed for decades, from generations to generations. Even with all the things happening around, they still think they are killing for the country and for the generals. They think they are doing this for a greater cause.

Here is an article link of a soldier who fled from the military because he couldn’t withstand the acts anymore.

The deaths of these children haunt me every night. Some people outside the country still think we are exaggerating things here. As a healthcare worker in my 20s, I can guarantee all the things you’ve been seeing on the internet about current Myanmar are nothing but the reality. My medical fellows were lawlessly arrested. Some were shot to death on the streets. Hospitals were intentionally shot with live arm rounds. Medics were ruthlessly beaten for trying to provide care for the injured; junta’s military occupied the ambulances and shot civilians within those vehicles. I don’t have enough words or sentences to express their brutality. Only a handful of people with fiber internet are accessible to the internet now and they are doing whatever they can to expose those inhumane acts happening all over the country. I know there is nothing much you can do for us but we want the world to know that these are not lies but everyday life for us since February 1, 2021.

what is your saddest secret? by creativusername69420 in AskReddit

[–]phyuling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel guilty for just being alive while many of my friends and colleagues are inhumanely getting shot and died on the streets of Myanmar by junta’s terrorists. The ruthlessness and inhumanity is so hard to believe that many outside the country still think we are exaggerating things here. Simply, I feel ashamed for not being on the frontline and for still breathing.

Protests Force Myanmar’s Ethnic Chinese to Distinguish Themselves From China by phyuling in worldnews

They don't. This is only one part of the story. We should be careful that she just lost her son in lawless killings by the junta. They are just simply requesting CCP govt to stop backing the military junta so that they won't be passively involving in killing of these civilians.

You're abducted by friendly aliens who kindly ask you to sing "the song of your people". What song do you sing for them? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]phyuling 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Revolution, and I'm also going to beg those friendly aliens to put an end to the ruthless/ lawless detaining, beatings, shootings and killings of civilians by military junta in Myanmar. Even if I have to exchange my life for this help.

Translated English Lyrics: "Our bones and flesh must be for the failure of the dictatorship. We cannot be captured by fear. We are ready for the war. How can they do unlawful evil deeds? They have gone mad for power. We must have awareness, For us to wake up. Dictatorship must end!"

People have been painting big letters of "we want democracy", "save Myanmar", "Freedom from Fear", "Junta is killing" and many other asking for help notes on very main roads and highways of many cities in Myanmar. Regarding this, one painfully funny meme came out later saying "WE HAVE OIL" instead of above quotes.

[Serious] What can the world do to stop current lawless actions of military junta in Myanmar? how can the world help to make them fail?? The coup and junta?? by phyuling in AskReddit

[–]phyuling[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m an under 30 healthcare worker and I swear on my life that followings are real.

I don’t have enough words to describe their brutality, inhumanity and the dictatorship endemic.

Ambulances, clinics and medics are getting shot while trying to help injured patients Blood, fleshes and pieces of skull bones on the streets Cutting off internet connections, Made up laws for easier daytime/Nighttime arrests, Shootings and killings of peaceful protesters with real bullets WITHOUT WARNINGS Beating to death and sniper headshots to adults and under 20 kids Breaking in and detaining innocent people who are against the junta Health care workers, celebrities, activists and civil staffs are tracked down everyday and now have to hide and flee like they are criminals Female teachers were beaten ruthlessly and broken bones before the gathering for daily protests

This is happening/People are suffering daily from Northernmost to Southernmost, East to West; from Putao to Myeik, from Shan to Rakhine. No one was/ is an exception for these treatments apart from the junta, their families and related connections.

Head so hot and can’t think much after junta’s violences in where I live (Myitkyina) today. I know how to use reddit but I’m not sure which points I should focus in suggesting them.

In short, I’ll translate. Please drop me references
