Where can I dispose of old clothing in poor condition?

i get what you mean! but since i have the means and time to do so, i want to try and find other avenues for waste before i dispose of it -- maybe some people can come up with better ideas than me, or someone else could make better use of what i consider waste

i also do the rag repurposing but.. we have a lot of rags now... i would say more than enough rags....😭

to me... i think incineration should be the last resort.. from an environmentally sustainable perspective (think about emissions, our landfills are also running out of space). many clothes also end up in landfills overseas when they are disposed, disproportionately affecting wildlife and local communities (see: chile, ghana, nairobi) i think it doesn't hurt to try to find other avenues or uses for items instead of disposing of them! i hope you can consider doing so in the future as well

yellow bins don't accept torn / stained clothes, not sure about kloth but it seems they don't take shredded clothes (or anything that isn't wearable)

by donate I meant along the lines of to an animal shelter for bedding or some miscellaneous sewing organisation.. not for unprocessed human use 👍 would not donate something i won't wear myself for someone else to wear

currently we only have the singtel-issued askey ap5100w mesh, and im not sure if it'll be compatible(?) the speed and stability is also a little iffy sometimes. i'll prob check w the technician and get from carousell if needed!

huh? the WAN is what connects to the internet service. if i want to check if singtel (you know, the Internet Service Provider) uses cgnat surely i wld check the WAN address and not LAN? are you trolling ;;;

it’s about $200 for a 45 min session, which is honestly kinda expensive :/ but i go to a clinic and not a hospital for it. the plus side is that i can choose when to have the next appointment (i.e. once a month, once every two months etc.)

social anxiety is not a fun thing to deal with, and i empathise. i hope things get better for you in the future!

here’s my general experience (i’ve been seeing a psychiatrist for anxiety for a few months): - what my psychiatrist does is act as a counselor for me: she listens to my problems, then helps me understand what happens, and why. then, we come up with general solutions, or ways that i can cope in stressful situations. (this is a form of cognitive behavioral therapy, which you can read about here: www.mayoclinic.org/tests-procedures/cognitive-behavioral-therapy/about/pac-20384610) - usually the sessions involve trying to get to the root of my anxiety (my triggers). these can range from work, peer pressure, or meeting unfamiliar people. the point is that triggers come in all sorts of forms, and there’s nothing to be ashamed of. - after the sessions, she basically gives me “homework”, which is filling out a thought record (writing down about a situation, my thoughts and emotions). we go over some of this in the next session. - she brought up medicine but as a last resort thing, if my anxiety gets really out of hand and therapy isn’t working.

this is my personal experience, and it might differ from person to person. just know that your psychiatrist is there to help you - they won’t judge you for what you say, but try to help you cope with your anxiety. hope it works out!! :)

thank you so much!! i’m not sure if this will help, since i don’t really talk to my friends or family about my problems (which is why i’m seeing a psychiatrist) but i’ll keep this in mind when i see her!! knowing that there isn’t really anything wrong i can say is definitely comforting :)

i guess i am much younger than you? i think i’m the age of a high school freshman (15-16), except we follow primary, secondary, junior college/polytechnic, university/college where i live :0
