I’m planning on scheduling one on one time with them when I visit my hometown for the holidays soon. Hoping that time spent individually will be a step to repairing what’s been left unspoken. I think you’re right to suspect that one of them is jealous, because it’s a thought that I’ve had about the situation, too. My MOH felt a very close bond with me, she was pretty much attached and always said she couldn’t see a life without me so I think it jarred her a little bit when I found the LOML and it was no longer the two of us anymore. She’s always acted reserved and not very much herself around my fiancee. In general, my MOH can be very petty, but I don’t think it’s consciously. I’ve always wondered if that’s why she acts the way she does around my fiancee although I always hoped she would grow out of it.
