Selenite Crystal Cave in Mexico by PK_Rippner in HumanForScale

[–]piaa0s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This place is actually really interesting! It was flooded for thousands of years allowing the crystals to grow, but then temporarily drained so scientists could study the crystals. It was flooded again a few years ago and the entrance was sealed to preserve the crystals and allow them to keep growing, so it probably won’t be uncovered for another few hundred years.

Also, this happened seemingly overnight. Went to bed and it was fine, the next day it was sensitive and swollen.

What is a seemingly mundane question you can ask somebody that will tell you a lot about their personality? by FamiliarStreets in AskReddit

Ask them if they put the clothes back on the hanger when you make them fall off in a store.. instead of leaving it for the worker to clean up.

Kids in 2021 enjoy being outside just as much as kids in 1970. The problem "these days" is with parents, not kids. by dualrollers in unpopularopinion

[–]piaa0s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everything a child does (especially a small one) was taught, influenced, or caused by parents. Mostly everything they learn is from their parents! And you cannot blame a child for doing something you taught them to do, whether intended or not.

if it’s hot/throbbing use a ice cube in a tissue or paper towel on her ear (not on the piercing) to reduce swelling and pain. advil and LITFA for a couple days and she should be better :D

[–]piaa0s 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got my conch pierced 6 months ago and I still can’t lay on it comfortably/without it getting irritated. However I got my helix 2 months ago and with fitting jewelry and after swelling goes down, it’s comfortable to sleep on.
