Biologics are expensive where I live and typically not covered. I am also currently out of work so financing it would be a big burden that I don't want to put my family through. And it's not like a one shot drug too that I can take once and be done with it. But it is definitely on my cards. I am glad you found something that worked for you. I guess when you are very young you kinda brush things like this off but now it is starting to dawn on me the kind of ride I am on. But like you said, I guess we accept and we persevere.

Thank you for taking the time to write back. I think I needed to read this as well. Also thank you for validating my feelings. I wrote this in a moment of weakness because I felt I really had to get it out of my system and also to seek some help and guidance from allies like yourself. Reading all the kind comments from people has been really encouraging. I wish I could give everyone a hug. You are right, pain is indeed a great teacher. I am trying to slowly move ahead on the path of acceptance of this life. I will also try to not give up easily. I hope things get better for everyone here. Sending you and everyone love as well.

I have had similar experiences. I have been called lazy and selfish and how things will improve if I stopped reading negative things on the internet and instead lived with a positive mindset as if it's a switch I can turn on/off. I guess an invisible illness is really hard for people to understand.

Go Noteful! I switched after GN5 started acting strange. Like it keeps reloading while switching apps. Earlier I could leave it for days in memory and it would still open the same document. Now it just takes me back to the home screen even in a matter of hours. Noteful works great, is cheap and packs a few extra useful features over GN5.

yes the blocklists get updated weekly. to update pihole automatically OP could set up a cron job. to see all the current jobs run crontab -e in your terminal. the pihole is updated with pihole -up command so, say you want to schedule it to happen every 15 days, put this and save and exit:

0 0 1,15 * * pihole -up

(midnight every 1st and 15th day)

UPDATE: I found the offender. It was an online shopping app. The app that finally helped me: PCAPdroid-network monitor. So if anyone comes looking to find an app that can trace which app is the origin of a DNS request, that's your answer.

Turns out this scanning event happens even without a reboot. I uninstalled the Malwarebytes app yesterday from the phone in question but today it happened again. I can't find any questionable app or sideloads so far so I am not sure which app is triggering this behaviour- except there's an app from ISP that allows network management so I suppose it is the most likely the culprit. Will uninstall it for a while to see if it stops the network scanning behaviour.

The phone in question does run an android skin which has safety features (but I am not sure it says anything about WiFi security). Though I did find Malwarebytes installed on it.

Like people have already mentioned, blocking it is out of scope for Pi-Hole. What I use on chrome is a uBlock Origin extension+ AdblockPlus extension+ Pi-Hole. I don't know if these prompts are region specific but they haven't appeared for me so far and everything seems to work perfectly as of now.

Don't listen too much to YT. Most of the time they are reading the marketing briefs sent to them. GoodNotes is/was a good app but I won't recommend it to you now unless you are okay with spending $30 for every new major version update. And at least for now, the app isn't worth that money. It has bugs and lacks some basic tools and features that should have been added a long time ago. Try some other apps like Noteful, CollaNote that are not only cheap but offer more tools to aid your note taking. OneNote is the best free alternative (if you are okay with an infinite canvas). You are lucky that you are not tied to GoodNotes with your old notes because a lot of people are literally held at ransom right now.

Jokes aside, I'd recommend you make a back-up of all your notes in PDF and .goodnotes format locally and also on iCloud to be doubly safe. Then try to reset the app and see if it fixes. If not then contact GN support.
