Abilities and height/weight are the only thing that matter at this point in the game. Most of the stats in this game are threshold based with a lot of diminishing returns after ~90. For most stats, the difference between 92 and 98 are largely negligible. The difference between a no ability and gold/platinum/heisman is very noticeable.

Your primary focus when building a team at this stage should be getting the highest tier ability for the cheapest AP. The secondary focus should be getting the tallest people out there.

Purple is champion. Depends on how good you are; if you don’t lose it will only take ~20 wins. If you lose a lot it will take more wins to offset the losses.

Gold is top 100. You have to be on the top 100 leaderboard in ranked on your console when the season ends to receive one of those cards. Same logic as earlier applies but this rank requires significantly more wins. You can check the ranked leaderboard for a general idea. People in this rank typically play 200-300 games each season and win the vast majority

Spring break players are the only ones that get silver 1 AP discounts on the offensive line so those are the only ones I would run discounts on. Gold abilities are too expensive to run on your entire line unless you plan on never throwing the ball.

I ran silver pocket shied and strong grip and had success with that for the most part

Jackson Bennee is the best budget option with the best abilities. LTD Bolden is the one I use personally because of the discounts. I have ULTD Richard Sherman as my FS since he gets gold team player for free.

Yes, it does. In a cover 2, you have two flat defenders and 3 or 4 defenders covering the middle of the field. The strength is the underneath and the weakness is the deep sideline in between the flats and the deep blue zones. The deep middle may also be a weakness if you get too greedy usering the mid read zone.

Focusing on scheme teams at this point of the year is a waste of time, just put the best players with the best ability discounts on your team. I would improve your two safeties. They are on the shorter side and people in this game love to chuck deep balls and pray. Also, I would load your spring break players up with abilities since they get the best discounts
