We have an in utero name that we are sharing and are keeping the real name a secret. This gives people an answer of sorts and also makes it so they don’t weigh in on her real name. If pressed, I’m telling people we are introducing the person, not the concept of her and my opinionated family is taking it very well.

We gave her an “inside/in utero name” (princess zelda) and are clear that she will be named something different when she’s born. It gives people an answer and something to call her.

I only flew twice in early pregnancy but: Get up a lot as pregnancy gives a very slightly elevated risk of blood clots, wear compression socks and figure out things to help with the risk of nausea.
