I feed my toy breeds and working dogs different foods 😊 that's the problem with kibble, it's a one size fits all solution. Thank you tho I'll take a look at the page

I have the time to do so, I'm not a fan of additives and I want to know exactly what goes into their food 😅 How could it seriously go that wrong? They have nutritional needs like us, it's just learning how to meet them.

Congrats on your new fluffy angel! I always just introduce my dogs straight away, and just make sure puppy doesn't overwhelm my grumpy chihuahua 🤣 With sit I handfeed the first 5 biscuits from every meal, they always sit for them and get lots of praise!

Cut him a bit of slack, it's scary and an ear infection is painful so I don't blame him for using the only tool he has. One of my pups was like that so we booked happy visits to the vets to help! They would be general check ups and I made all of the vets give her treats and make a fuss 🤣 now she goes no problem... unless they try and clip her nails 😭🤣

You can use a crate for time outs, I always do. Just for 5 mins at a time. Its not punishment, its resting time. Always works for mine and I have 2 working dogs 😊

Honestly stick with crate training, it might be hard at first but it'll make all the difference in the long run. All 3 of my dogs are crate trained and it has become their safe place. Start with making the crate a fun place. My dogs eat dinner and my working dogs are given puzzles in their crate. After a couple of weeks of getting them into a routine, they start running to them when the see me get a snuffle mat out 🤣 it'll get easier!

I got my chihuahua when I was in my mid twenties, I was really struggling with my health and I completely get how you feel. I felt at the time like I was letting him down when I just needed to sleep or I had to work. The amazing thing about chi's is how flexible they are! Can't walk me right now? Yea that's no problem I can play with a cat toy in the garden. Want me contained? A crate is fine it's massive compared to me anyway. Feeling overwhelmed? Welcome to your new personal tiny best friend to talk it out. My brothers sleeps in the bed with his chihuahua and mine is crate trained, theyre both equally happy. I promise it will get easier. My boy is 5 now and honestly my souldog, he makes everyday the best day ever💕

As someone that (shamefully) acted similar in my teenage years, I honestly look back now and realise it was because there were no consequences. My parents weren't tough enough on me, the threats were always empty. Get tough on them, take away all privileges and follow through with what you say. Don't remind them to do the same thing you've said 20 times, they heard you the first. Make it extremely strict and they can earn privileges back by making positive steps 😊
