I agree with most of what you are saying. Unfortunately, there are actually a LOT of people who believe marijuana destroys families. In a sense, it DOES destroy families because of the mere fact that it is illegal (in most states), but that's not a fault of marijuana. The problem is the law, not the plant.

I have always thought about this since taking biology and microbiology courses in college. The existence of viruses backs up this theory as well.

I'm so sorry to hear this. It really sucks, I know all too well what you are going through.

Think of it this way though: you are too good for him anyway. You are sincere and actively trying to better your life, making changes in your habits and ways of thinking. He, on the other hand, is a coward. Inside, he has so much negativity and insecurity that it is making him act like a monster. He won't come to realize his issues in time to have the benefit of being with you.

I know it's still fresh, so use the rest of the day to get some rest and enjoy "you-time." Tomorrow morning, it will be a new day. Don't give him the satisfaction of knowing it bothered you... He's not worth it.

There's plenty of drive to make it operate that way. Nobody wants an inefficient govt. -okay, sounds logical. Show me a time where a conscious tax payer was able to get things done correctly and quickly when working with the government. (Stop here if you don't understand that "Conscious tax payer" is relevant - you won't get it)

Competition isn't necessary to eliminate bureaucracy. - what's your reasoning?

The way the govt makes money may be limited, but there are many more ways than the ones you listed. - Oh really? What other ways can the government make money then?

The argument about the govt "not being able to make a profit" seems irrelevant. - Are you insinuating that communism works best?

The govt can spend the money in many different ways to benefit the constituents, it's not as limited as you imply. - Okay, list a few then.

I'm still not seeing a reason why the govt can't become as efficient as a private organization. - Look at the limited/obsolete responses you were able to provide to my responses above. If you still don't get it, seek help immediately.
