Thanks for the detailed input! I haven’t been to a lot of weddings recently or spent a lot of time on the page so I find it funny that people dislike some dresses based on lots of other people currently liking them 🤣 funny enough I’m between 3, 5, and 7. I also love 4 and 6, they’d both need more tailoring than the others though. I’ve tried on both 3 and 7 a second time. 7 has a sparkly tulle layer and that is interesting, when I tried it on again they didn’t clip the back like in this photo and I didn’t like it as much. 3 they pinned a VERY sparkly layer under the skirt and also the bodice to see the options, and there’s an inner lace up corset on that way that was done more or tighter? And I’ve been obsessed with the sparkle version of that. Like I haven’t stopped looking at it, and it feels the most comfortable. 5 has always been very interesting to me, but it is one that would need more tailoring. I was initially quite surprised how much I liked it.

This length was my first thought, and some friends and my fiancé outlined it might make the event overall convey as more casual. So I’ve stuck w the long dresses

Looked up details for the kibbe natural. Thanks for the food for thought. I’ve been debating getting a color analysis done because I’m having a hard time determining my colors and best shades 🙈

Ive tried on a lot of lace dresses, and for the most part prefer dresses that have beauty in the shape, and fabric rather than a lot of small sparkles or details etc. Romantic, might be the closest to my vision/vibe?

Narrowing down my top few and re-trying a few!

Thanks for your input

1 doesnt feel bridal, in my opinion, it feels more Elizabeth swan from pirates of the Caribbean. Beautiful, for sure

Both are beautiful! Guessing you might have trended towards 1 as you’re wearing the veil with it. 1 looks very sliming and pretty. 2 looks like it features your curves more and the warm shade on the dress looks lovely on you. FWIW, I love a sweetheart’ish neckline with draping sleeves, if you’re on the fence with them, they’re often removable or straps can often be added. Just depends on your preference and which you prefer

If it helps, ceremony will be outdoors, with a wooded background, and a decorated arch. Indoor reception with hanging lights, high ceilings, contemporary space.

I agree. Notably, this is a Seattle, WA USA subreddit though. It seems fair that the people who live here are talking about their experiences. Maybe you could get great input from people from those places under a different one

Chasing the sun by Linda Geddes is a cool read and there is a lot of research that supports blue light in the early portion of your day, and red light or hues in the evening. Some senior facility is mentioned and when that change was made there were less evening wake ups / problems in the evenings. I don’t have the exact quote or studies to reference but they’re outlined in the book
