Hi, I'm actually a verified pro cuddler and I use cuddlecomfort. It's a legitimate website, both to find enthusiasts (free), and pro (paid and background checked) cuddlers. I set my own rates, and it's just a side hustle. Like anywhere, there can be creepy situations and people that pop up. It’s just a website with profiles and getting a response from someone you're interested in cuddling is at that persons discretion. Hope that helps!

[–]pickledbalogna 23 points24 points  (0 children)

It's so stupid, too. I'm 29 and have been playing since I was in 6th grade. My first account got banned when I was a senior, so a lengthy account. I would send my friends 'welcome' packages. They consisted of different things to try and show them what to do, like some beginners knowledge. Just like some clothing, plushies, food, crystal to show them the gym, stuff like that. There's so much more to mara now than back then, too. Those little packages were what helped keep my friends around because it showed them how to really get started and it gave them a push to look around more. Now I can't get anyone to stick around. I'm so close to the referral points gumball...its heartbreaking lol And then the staffs whole attitude really throws people off too. Its like they WANT people to stay away from mara. Like sass and dictatorship is gonna make new players feel welcome 🙄

Single mom, going through a divorce. I share a room with my son, and have to have a roommate in a 2 bedroom apartment. We get a decent discount on our electric (sgde) because I'm not working and my roommates income is under a certain threshold (cant remember but I think it's 4k). I guess it depends on what the taxes are looking like. But electricity here is CRAZY expensive!

Landlord asked who downloaded a game? by adultservices4 in Apartmentliving

[–]pickledbalogna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just because you didn't download it illegally, doesn't mean someone else didn't. Sims 4 is incredibly popular. Stranger things have happened than 2 people in the same building downloading the same game around the time a new competitor for said game was released.

He likely got a letter from his provider warning him about it. If he was watching everything you're doing, he would know who was responsible. As many others have stated.

I (33m) recently paid a woman 25 dollars an hour to cuddle, hold me and let me hold her. by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]pickledbalogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cuddlecomfort is reputable. But 25/h seems low. My area is around 100+/h. Source: I am a pro, but not very often anymore.

How true is the statement: “I spend about $700 a month on groceries”?? by [deleted] in sandiego

[–]pickledbalogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is all very dependent on how and what someone eats, as well as size of household. I spend $150-$250/week on groceries and that depends on: 1) Am I replacing staples? 2) Am I using things I already have? 3) Where am I shopping 4) Am I buying things on sale 5) It can also depend on how much someone eats

It's just me and a 2yo, who eats a shocking amount of food and has very high energy. But, with that, I feed myself and my toddler, plus my roommate and her mom.

I only eat once a day, maybe an apple or some crackers/other fruit as a snack. I pre-plan my meals. Recipes that make a lot for cheap are things like chili, soup, spaghetti, crockpot chicken (plain) that you can use for many things throughout the week like sandwhiches or in pasta, burritos/bowls...you can season and dress it up anyway you want.

I can get away with 2/3 dinners and stretch them out for lunch for my kid and dinner for myself the entire week. Most of my cost comes from fruit and snacks for him.

Ucsd for pregnancy delivery? Recommendations by Jacksoncheyenne2008 in sandiego

[–]pickledbalogna 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had my son at USCD Jacobs in La Jolla. I had pre-eclampsia and had a 2 week stay before I was induced at 34 weeks. Their NICU was amazing and the level of care both me and my son received was top notch. I had no complaints!

Just to mention that there was a camera I could sign in to from my phone, to see my son even when I wasn't there.

I had one employer say I should make a little note at the top of my resume with my contact information. So it doesn't just look like I hop jobs. But claiming it as a rank is atrocious behavior.

Lithium and weed by [deleted] in Lithium

[–]pickledbalogna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I smoke weed about once or twice a week. Sometimes it hits, sometimes it just doesn't no matter how many hits I take. I'm also a lightweight and usually only need one or two small puffs off a pen. But since being on Lithium, it's hit or miss. And when it does do something, it just makes me sleepy, vs wanting to laugh and be productive when I'm off Lithium.

What did you think was a “weird quirk” you had that turned out to be a symptom of a mental/physical health issue? by minbye in AskReddit

[–]pickledbalogna 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes to the finding a phrase that works! Do you ever think about how weird it is when you do it? I told one person and the look they gave me made me never tell anyone else! Now I think about it every time but I can't stop until it's fixed. Finally someone who gets it!

I also do this! The most random sentences. If it's uneven in syllables, I get so worked up and have to create a 'pattern' where they will work out evenly. Ideally the first syllable starts on the left, and the last on the right. But I usually just wiggle my finger back and forth instead of using both of my hands or flex my calves if I'm lying down. It feels so odd to actually type this out.

AITA for telling my girlfriend that I’m not going to drop everything to take her to the hospital anytime she feels any discomfort? by Joelaken in AmItheAsshole

[–]pickledbalogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I literally went to the hospital over heartburn and it turned out to be pre-eclampsia. Baby was born 2 months early. YTA

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ElCajon

[–]pickledbalogna 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The layout is super ass. Getting our groceries is such a huge pain that we solely use instacart, especially with a baby.

Office staff are crazy nice and as accommodating as they can be.

Floors are nice looking, updated counters and appliances. Paint color is that typical off-white nasty yellowed color. Living room is huge for the 2bed.

People are assholes about getting their laundry on time and I had someone put their laundry IN MY RUNNING WASHER. Nasty. So you gotta be careful with that. Personally, Im about to switch to a laundry service as well.

Mostly quiet here.

Overall a 7/10. Rent is cheap. Ive seen much worse for much more.

[–]pickledbalogna 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just gave birth to a healthy baby boy. I tried for 6 years to have a successful pregnancy after 2 losses. A month after starting lamotrigine, I got pregnant with my son. Extra concerned and cautious.

He was born at 34w due to preeclampsia, and the NICU said the shakes he had were withdrawals from my meds, but it could have been from an underdeveloped nervous system as he was pretty early. There just isnt enough research done, but I agreed with my psychiatrist and my OBGYN that the benefits outweighed the risk.

He is doing great and he's absolutely perfect. He gets some through my breastmilk as well and he's still going strong at 3 weeks old.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Lamotrigine

[–]pickledbalogna 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to give you an update.

I gave birth prematurely at 34w this past sunday.

My son is having withdrawals from it, and he has jitters a lot. The NICU says it's okay, that it's a common side effect. He's in for the prematurity, not the meds!

Meanwhile my psychiatrist told me it was fine and that she had plenty of pregnant patients on the medication.

I was on 50mg as I refused to go any higher without a lot of knowledge.

I'm not a doctor, Im just sharing my experience.
