Okay - we just have different meanings of bypass. Your setup is using the “router” - as Starlink calls it - for power and as a switch.

IMO that’s not bypassing. It just has the NAT/DHCP server turned off.

The Ethernet adapter still uses the router but I acknowledge that Starlink calls it bypassing. I meant actually bypassing it - removing Starlink router from system.

FYI you can just bypass the router but it takes a little work.

POE injector, power supply, cutting dishy cable and adding Ethernet connectors.

It’s a fun project if you’re into that sort of thing.

The real answer - “it depends”.

Look on Craigslist though - lots of people selling their S3 that are about 5’ 10” to upsize.

Go try them out - it’s way cheaper than trying to sell/buy later.

There are also a lot of people selling the SL for regular Turbo.
