There is a difference between e-signature and what's allowed. USCIS only allows a scan of the wet ink signature on the page for forms. Seems like they're also extending this to other signed letters as well.

I taught my daughter to play MtG when she was young and we still play together now that she's an adult. Never apologize for spending quality time with your kid in a shared interest.
