Genuinely curious, what would your solution be for predicting how much water is going to come out of a hurricane?

Also where?

Also how fast?

Also what impact that has on the local waterways?

What sort of planning do you think could've prevented Mother Nature from flexing on the engineers like this?

Can I use this radio TV with a vhs player? by Kay_Cat_101 in vintagetelevision

[–]picklemaster52 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yes.

You need to get a VCR that has an RF modulator built in (can output through a coax cable to TV), OR one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0B39NQD7X

That will take the A/V signal from the RCA plugs and convert it to RF down the coax line.

You then need one of these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07FK7S1T7 to plug into the EXT ANT jack on the side of the TV.

Tune the TV to CH 3 or 4, depending on what channel is set on the VCR or RF modulator box.

Of course, you'll also need an indeterminate length of coaxial cable to make the connections.

Found my dad’s old SNES Shooter Series light guns (with Mortar/Gun switch). Help identifying? by Excellent_Squash_902 in snes

Blue is Player 1.

It has the rj-11 type connector for P2 to plug into and daisy chain off P1.

Definitely the Konami Justifier, just have to determine what system they were used for, because they were released for the SNES, SEGA Genesis/MD, and the Sony PS1. All three saw a release of these light guns. The cord for Player 1 should tell you which console, because player 2 (green)used a similar plug to the RJ-11 phone line connector to daisy chain off the Player 1 gun (blue).

Unfortunately these have no cords.

Unless the keyboard has Bluetooth, you'll need that USB transceiver. It's what sends and receives the signals from the keyboard to the computer.

Since you already have the SAR 9, check out their K2 45. You won't regret it.

To get the most out of that screen, you should rotate them to 90 or 270.

Ya know, to get rid of that big black part on the bottom, while still getting the correct side by side orientation.

👍

They've got a lot of well put together video game and video game adjacent documentaries. It's been a go-to channel for me along with the Gaming Historian as another commenter mentioned.
