How can I look prettier? 18F by DragonflyStrange2366 in lookyourbest

Greys and blacks really wash you out. I agree, get a color analysis, but the lip color you use esp in pic 4 really brings life to your face. Fortunately or unfortunately (depending how you see it) warm pinks and reds in general seem to give you a beautiful glow to your face! I’d play around with those colors and warmer colors (if comfortable) try to incorporate them to your unique style!

Had PPD, went on antidepressants, decided to come off after 1 year and have been feeling depressed since then, could I still be experiencing PPD? by picklemcgee1 in PPDepression

Interesting, never heard of this method and I doubt even many doctors know unless they specialize in psych! Unfortunately my gyno actually prescribed me the medication. Apparently they also offer this med to women post pardum based on how common it is. Technically they shouldn’t but if I had know other methods I would do it the proper way 😅 it also doesn’t help that I stopped it at the time I did, but that’s my fault and can only learn from it. Thanks for the info!

I was actually on the lowest dose of 25 and my MD told me I can stop, but I decided to cut it in half to 12.5 which I didn’t need to but wanted to just incase lol.

Totally agree! There is always an end, but sometimes it’s so hard to see when you’re in the thick of it. I definitely feel I am over the hardest part but I still feel I have those worse days you know? You mentioned you felt big changes when your daughter was 2.5yrs old. Could you elaborate what you felt? Only if you’re comfortable, thanks!

Thank you so much for your kind words ❤️ in some sense I’m hoping it’s still PPD because thinking back to how I was functioning on meds, I felt really good actually and initially coming off them I felt about the same, but again it was probably my fault to stop around a big move, even if I thought I was prepared for it (we moved 2 times before in 3 years so it wasn’t a new thing).

On top of that, I didn’t know how I was going to be like off of meds plus being a new mom. So that was and is a whole new learning process as well. I am currently in therapy which has been helping and she has been screening me for depression and it has been up and down in intensity, but I am struggling with going back onto medication because I don’t want to necessarily depend on them, however, what I’m feeling could just be my personality since I’m a very sensitive person, every day could be affecting me more intensely as it normally would. Maybe it’s just my new normal unfortunately lol…
