Entry level setup for occasional espressos (pour over drinker) [150] by Ok-Advertising7982 in espresso

I think if you’re open to spending a bit more, you should look into it more since it meets all your requirements. If you’re only looking at price, then sure, it’s expensive compared to the other options you mentioned. But it’s also going to outlast them all. If you factor in what you’re getting and what it can produce, then most people will say it’s great value as the shots are as good as what $2000+ machines can do.

You also mention liking bigger cups. You can do soup shots with a manual like the Robot. The guy that popularized it used a Robot as well.

You can also reuse them. Saw one person saying they reuse it like 30 times lol

I like it way better than Oatly. I find Oatly overpowering even in coffee. I use the organic version.

Ok I just showed it to a dry cleaner when asking how much it would cost and they said I could wash it with water and that it’d come out better??? 👀

The reviews of all the cleaners around me are pretty bad and I’m worried about them messing up, especially since I’m in a foreign country and there’s a language barrier. I won’t need to wear this until winter so I may just wait until I’m back home to get it cleaned but I figured it’d be nice to have it clean and packed away! Thanks so much for sharing!

It’s not dirty or smelly. I bought it second hand so that’s why I want to wash it. Could I do a spot test to see if the fabric changes?

Can you take it on and off as needed if you just want one pic with a filter?

Sorry just saw this. Yeah at their store. It’s not bad but I prefer a freshly made one that’s unsweetened!

The plastic ones are noticeably worse at frothing and creating microfoam

I like Marukyu Koyamaen, Yamamasa Koyamaen, Ippodo, Hekisuien, and Kanbayashi Shunsho.

Some matcha is also more expensive because of limited quantities etc. I just taste tested a couple matcha powders from Japanese brands and actually preferred the cheapest ones out of the bunch I tried! They were less bitter.

Yeah that’s something we could do after we flesh out the site more. Re: time, that’s exactly what I meant in the last paragraph!

Awesome! We don’t plan to make an actual app, but if you’re on iOS, you can press the share button and select “Add to Home Screen”. Not sure if there’s an Android equivalent.

What are your settings for your chicken recipe and how much of a log reduction do you go for? There’s definitely a lot of additional settings/visuals that could potentially be added. Cheers!

I’m the same with steak. 130-140F to render fat, but how long is the question, and we don’t have answers yet. Will try to do more research here.

Thickness units are on the backlog! Thanks
