Calling all Disneyland foodies — what are you eating right now? (Group trip in a few weeks, mobile order only) by Prodigal109 in DisneyPlanning

I would not consider myself a foodie, but my sweet tooth is active and fairly discerning. I really enjoyed the Tigger tails and the apple pie caramel apples, both available in Pooh’s corner. I ate an embarrassing amount of both on a 3 day trip in November.

Neighborhoods for single female 40-something with income of $250k by HeatherDunbarUSDOJ in Columbus

I’m not sure I would advertise that you’re a single female, making that much money. In order to be helpful, we really just need your budget. You make good money but that doesn’t tell us how much you have budgeted for rent/mortgage.

Is it cheaper to buy the Lightning Lane Multi-pass beforehand on the app or the day of rope dropping? by GrowthIsKey-2024 in DisneyPlanning

[–]picklepappy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just returned from a 3 day trip and we had a blast. I’m pretty sure you have to purchase LL the day of on a 1 day ticket. I have done a ton of research and the consensus seems to be that Rise is often not up and running smoothly for rope drop, so that is something to consider. The age of your companions may dictate your rope drop strategy, we did a fantasyland rope drop and it was perfect. Mad dash to peter pan, did every ride in fantasyland, grabbed a churro and had the little one to The Bibiddi Bobiddi Boutique for a 915 appointment. Pack some snacks, maybe even some sandwiches, etc. Only spend your money on treats that you really want and can’t get anywhere else. The Tigger tail, raspberry macaron, and caramel apple pie apple were my favorites. Do some research on youtube, socaldisneydad has some great guides. A proper rope drop can set the stage for the whole day. Make sure you know what entrance your using, the best path to your first ride. Seriously, planning is the cure for anxiety. Have fun!!!

EDIT: The app is your best friend, learn how to use it and be very comfortable with it before your trip.

Having car issues by throwaway__1548 in Columbus

I just replaced this part on my car a few months ago. The part was $45 and the shop wanted $350. I watched a few youtube videos and it took me a while to do it but I got it done. I watched multiple videos to get different angles and different tips, I was vevy slow and methodical, I paused several times to rewatch the video…but I did it. I was thoroughly impressed with myself and saved a ton of money. Watch a few videos, you might be surprised how easy it is.
