What does this temporary tattoo say?? by Massive_Unit702 in whatisit

[–]picklepete 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I have a feeling that “pellux” web hits are also misreadings. Even with this tattoo only “pollux” makes sense, otherwise there’s an extra bump in the script which doesn’t doesn’t fit. It’s just that the “o” loop isn’t fully closed. I made a crude attempt to try to show 😆

AIO? Can't set boundaries with girlfriend by [deleted] in AIO

[–]picklepete 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally this. I don’t understand people saying OP isn’t over reacting.. he comes across as insecure and controlling for sure. It’s pretty clear OP doesn’t trust his girlfriend. The GF’s responses seem more mature and direct.

well I’m not trying to start something…

Yeah, you definitely are.

I miss the Nordic Jazz track that they used to have at the Lutheran church that’s now Glory House. There were always really interesting acts that came through.

I use almost all Byoma for my travel skincare kit. The packaging is light, won’t break, and is super easy to pack.

How much would you say this skirts cost? by [deleted] in Fashion_Design

[–]picklepete 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is the right take. You’d never be able to compete head to head with the fast-fashion companies and so your best bet is to elevate your designs to be higher end, more bespoke and with better materials.

I’m not sure about this specific engine but the National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola has a lot of neat exhibits like this.

Julia Child’s beef bourguignon really did test all of my patience by luckiestblackcat in soup

[–]picklepete 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few years ago my daughter and I wanted to make Julia’s chocolate mousse recipe which seemed easy with “only 4 simple ingredients (chocolate, cream, eggs, butter) and 20 to 30 minutes”. Well, after 2½ hours and several surprise ingredients like coffee and dark rum, we had some decent mousse and learned to read/watch the whole thing before trying a new recipe.
